MCZ Group (Manufatti Cemento Zanette), was set up in 1975 to manufacture cement products. It is a public limited company, the share capital of which has been entirely held by the Zanette family from the onset.
Its initial success was obtained in the masonry barbecue industry, where the company is now European leader, under the Sunday brand.
From the 1980s, the company began to manufacture open fireplaces, moving on to a complete line of closed fireplaces and inserts in the 1990s, to meet the demands of a fast expanding market. Since 1995, production has been extended to stoves: MCZ was among the first to introduce the pellet system, immediately acquiring significant domestic and foreign market shares. MCZ is among the major Italian exporters of pellet stoves abroad.
Since 2004, the MCZ brand has been consolidated through the development of products focusing increasingly on decorating with fire, and the company has experienced constant and continuous growth.
In 2011, the group's strategy is completed with the creation of a new line of business linked to renewable energy: with the Red brand, the company indeed broaches the world of biomass and solar systems.
